P.S. College, Belpara that stands unparalleled since its foundation on 1st May 1983 on the road side in one of the leading institutions of Belpara Block is contributing its service on teaching-learning process continuously. On the initiative of the local people it was started with 55 students in I.A. and +2 Arts with only 19 students. It gets affiliated to the Sambalpur University and CHSE, Odisha with English, MIL(O), Education. Political Science, History and Economics. The College began to function on the High School premises for 4 years before it shifted to its own building in 1987. As the dedicated teachers performed their respective duty perfectly and purposefully, soon the need of degree classes was felt. It was inducted in 1988-89 which receioved concurrence in 1989-90. Undoubtly this virtous institution succeeded in creating an academic atmosphere in this region and we have never been deviated from our goal. Now we have more than 1500 students in +2 Arts, Science, Vocational and +3 Arts and Science.
